5. The Rider will not abuse the horse or other horses in any way and will
treat the horses with utmost care.
6. The Rider will not litter any grounds and agrees to carry with him/her
any trash and dispose of such trash in the assigned trash dumpster upon
return to the Ranch. Should the Rider not have the capability to carry such
trash, the trash will be given to the trail guide who will carry the trash
in saddlebags until return to the ranch.
7. The Rider understands that the areas in which he/she will be riding
are environmentally sensitive and agrees to respect the environment and also
agrees not to carry any substance or matter which could potentially create a
fire hazard to the area.
8. The Rider agrees to follow in the order and proceed in the manner as
instructed by the trail guide.
9. The Rider understands that the trail guide has the right to terminate
the ride at any time or to instruct a rider to dismount their horse at any
time and discontinue the ride if the trail guide believes that there could
potential danger to either the rider, the horse and/or the environment.
10. The Rider understands that he/she will not trot, canter and/or gallop
unless the trail guide has deemed that the individual is capable of doing so
and only then if the trail guide has given permission to do so and it does
not disrupt the overall ride and pleasure of the fellow trail riders.
11. The Rider agrees that he/she has watched and listened to the
instructions given by the trail guide with respect to the particular horse
he/she is riding and will follow those instructions and guidelines
throughout the trail ride.
12. No unauthorized persons are permitted to enter any of the horse
barns, house, or other ranch facilities.
13. The Rider must complete and signed the Rider Information and
Experience Form and read and signed the Liability Waiver agreement before
being permitted to ride.
14. No person under the age of twelve (12) or over the weight of 220
pounds will be permitted to ride.

Liability Waiver
I understand that boarding, riding, trail riding, and working with horses
are inherently dangerous activities and necessarily involve a high risk of
loss of or damage or injury to equipment, horses, or people. By my signature
below, and as a condition of my agreement with Unionville Ranch, L.L.C., its
General Managers, any of its employees, and any other property owners,
state-owned lands through which I will be riding will be responsible for
such loss, damage or injury including, by way of illustration but not
limitation, those resulting from accidents or injury, members of my family,
friends or guests and those resulting from theft, loss of or damage to any
equipment, horses, feed, vehicles or trailers while on these premises and/or
any trails upon which I will be riding. I agree to wear an approved safety
helmet when riding or working with any horse on the premises. I will take
all precautions necessary to insure the safety of myself, of other people,
and of horses and equipment. I have also read and understand all of
Unionville Ranch L.L.C.’s rules and regulations and will abide by them
all.
